Winners, acquired by TJX in 1990, has grown to 208 stores in Canada at 2009’s year-end, and is the leading off-price retailer in that country.

Winners offers a merchandise mix similar to T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, including family apparel, such as women’s, family footwear, fine jewelry, children's apparel, lingerie, accessories and menswear, home fashions, and other merchandise including beauty.

Winners stores average approximately 29,000 square feet in size. We expect to net four additional Winners stores in 2009. We believe that Winners has the potential to become a 240 store chain in Canada.
